Terms of Use

By downloading, installing or using Kelva, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms apply in addition to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Kelva is a training app for women. You plan a training week and tick sessions off. If you allow it, the app adapts today's session to how recovered you are, using your sleep, your cycle day and a one-tap daily check-in. Friends can be linked and see only whether your planned weeks got done.

Kelva does not tell you what to train based on your cycle phase, and it makes no claim that it should. What it adjusts is the load of today's session, from measured recovery. Your programme itself stays as you planned it.

You need an account to use Kelva. You are responsible for keeping access to it secure. You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country if that is higher. You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app.

Kelva is free to use. Planning your week, ticking sessions off, the exercise archive, live mode, the check-in, statistics and friends stay free — friends have had no seat limit since August 2026. Kelva Plus is an auto-renewing subscription that adds the parts named on the paywall in the app: automatic adjustment of your sessions in the morning, the full history, and calendar export.

The exact features, price and billing period are the ones shown to you on that screen at the moment of purchase, in your own currency. What is listed here describes the shape of the offer, not its price.

Kelva Plus is billed through your Apple ID. It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you turn renewal off beforehand, within the window Apple states at purchase. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.

You manage and cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings, not in the app — deleting the app does not cancel it. Where a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policy. We cannot issue them ourselves, because we never receive the payment.

Linking a friend is voluntary on both sides and can be undone by either of you at any time. What she receives is your count of completed sessions against the number you planned — for the current week and as a history of the weeks since you connected. The history reaches no further back than the link itself, and ending the link ends the access at once.

Two further things can be released, each with its own switch and each off by default: how many days in a row you have followed your plan, and your training week itself. Turning either off deletes what was shared rather than merely stopping the updates.

A friend can ask you to show her your training week. Such a request releases nothing — it reaches you as a question, the decision stays with you, and it can be repeated at most every three days. Nothing else about you is shared, and there is no way to widen any of it from her side.

You agree not to:

• Use Kelva for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access another person's account or data
• Link a partner who has not agreed to it
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the app
• Use automated systems to access the service, or interfere with its operation

This is the important one. Kelva is a fitness app, not a medical device, and nothing in it is a diagnosis, a treatment, or advice from a health professional. The readiness figure, the adapted session and anything the in-app coach says are general fitness guidance calculated from the data you provide.

Talk to a doctor before starting a training programme, especially if you are pregnant or postpartum, are recovering from an injury or surgery, take medication that affects your heart rate or your cycle, or have any condition that exercise could affect. If something hurts, stop — and do not use anything in this app as a reason to keep going. If you think you are having a medical emergency, contact emergency services.

Kelva deliberately says nothing about nutrition, supplements, pain diagnosis, pregnancy, postpartum or perimenopause programming, or medication. Where a question touches those, the app declines and points you at a person instead. That is by design, not an omission.

Physical training carries a risk of injury. You are responsible for choosing loads you can handle, for your technique, and for stopping when you should. Exercise instructions in the app are general descriptions, not supervision — nobody is watching your form.

We aim to keep Kelva working, but we do not guarantee it is uninterrupted or error-free. Parts of it depend on services we do not run — Apple Health, the App Store, push delivery — and can be unavailable for reasons outside our control. Your plan and your health data live on your device and remain readable there when our servers do not answer.

Kelva, its name, logo, artwork, design and code belong to us. The exercise dataset the app draws on is used under its own licence, which is reproduced in Settings → Licences. Your plan and your data remain yours; you grant us only the limited permission needed to run the service for you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage arising from your use of Kelva, including lost data or missed sessions. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for intent and gross negligence.

You may delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. When an account is deleted, its data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms. Significant changes are announced in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page moves. Continuing to use Kelva after that means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by Swiss law, and the courts of Switzerland have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU or the EEA, this does not remove the protection of mandatory law in your country of residence, or your right to bring a claim there.
